Day 10: Journal Volume l -Remain Teachable
Today’s meditation is about making progress by applying simple actions when it comes to blowing things out of proportion and upsetting ourselves, unnecessarily.

Day Ten: Remain Teachable
It is amazing what our thoughts can do to any situation. It is even more amazing that after 36 years and counting, I am still letting my thoughts add too much hot pepper to what is occurring. Whatever is happening, it is going to happen, no matter how I decide to address it.
Misery and chaos are optional, someone help me comprehend this and get it through to my brain, that our thoughts can be treacherous and damning to ourselves and others. Today just let me learn to raise my hand in refusal and say, “no thanks I ‘ll pass,” to the extra hot pepper."

Today I’m choosing to remain calm inside & teachable outside regardless of what today brings. One way or another -I’m going to learn something!
Focus this meditation on Step Two - We came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
Step Two is chock full of recovery for our mental health as we seek a Power Greater than ourselves and utilize all the strength that it places at our fingertips. A Power Greater than us works through people, places, and things. Some people call the Greater Power God others don't want to name it and they find they don't have to in order for it to help them.
A calm, serene state of mind can be restored and can be experienced by applying simple actions like saying "no" or removing ourselves from the negativity. We are also applying sane behavior when we ask someone for suggestions on how to get through a problem and then take the the suggestion.
