Today’s meditation is about facing our demons, the obstacles that prevent us from moving forward to experience freedom.
**Below is the Excerpt from my book-series, “I didn’t ask to think this way, I just do...” that I am relating to. Book l Visuals, page 32, Volume l page 52.
“Day Twenty-One: Moving Past Procrastination You wake up knowing you are lacking creative influence to stir your senses and brighten your spirit. Then you choose to do the same old -same old, hoping and praying it will one day change. This is like standing in front of a white canvas with water and a paintbrush, thinking boy, I’d really like to paint some green, pink, and purple flowers here, but I am too lazy to do what it takes and go buy paint. Tomorrow I will. The thing is, tomorrow never seems to come. So, choose differently today.”

Sometimes we just don’t know where to start. So, we start right here, right now with one positive action and do something different to get a different result. Looking into my day, right now I choose not to run from my responsibilities no matter how redundant they may be. I’ll remember through-out today that nothing in this day compares to my own demons that I faced in the streets of Philadelphia, where I was born & raised. Our past can literally cripple & hold us back or it can empower us to move forward. Choose to go forward!
I choose to let my past move me into action and I use it in a positive way to color this day that God decided to give to me. I will pull strength from my past to push me forward no matter what comes my way in this day. If you are still breathing, -you can choose this too.
